Course Overview
A Certified Nursing Assistant course is designed to prepare students to provide basic care to patients in healthcare settings like hospitals, nursing homes, and long-term care facilities. Nursing assistants work under the supervision of licensed nurses and are essential in supporting patients with daily activities and monitoring health conditions.
Course Duration
- Full-Time: 4 to 12 weeks

Course Objectives
- By the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Understand the role and responsibilities of a nursing assistant.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting.
- Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain patient hygiene and safety.
- Follow infection control and emergency procedures.
- Support the emotional and psychological needs of patients.
- Report and document patient information accurately.

- Language Proficiency: Basic reading and writing skills in the language of instruction
